New article is coming, but gardens and shrubs call to be planted! A wonderful springtime here in central Arizona, land of the Yavapai and Apache. It has come early again this year — shirtsleeves from January forward — but has also held the hot weather off until now — very unusual to not cross the 80-degree mark before May 1st!

Blessings on you where you are, blessed be nature as it unravels after the winter. Blessings be the sun and wind, and despite the unrest in the world today, blessed be our lives, may they continue in peace and prosperity, and liberty and freedom from evil. Such the Apache must have thought, as they wandered out of the mountains to harvest the agave, just beginning to send forth flower stalks, for the great agave heart roasts that marked their spring.
